A couple of years back in a forum on the American Audio website, a thread
enquired as to what features and specifications DJ's would prefer in their
ultimate 12" mixer. The site was inundated by hits from hundreds of DJs that
finally had a chance to express their ideas. These ideas were researched,
developed and finally encapsulated in the MX1400DSP. Designed by DJ's for
DJ's to create a fully featured, intuitive mixer that wont break the bank.
Some of the many features include digital multi effects that can be assigned
to any channel, master and cue BPM analyzer, parameter time and depth
adjustment, master and booth balanced outputs, adjustable cross fader,
recessed connectors, superior circuitry, long life faders and much more. The
control surface has a nice aesthetic to it and the mixer actually feels
substantial in body and weight. The layout is logical, user friendly and
