The Yamaha Stagepas 500 portable PA system is the big brother to the Stagepas 300, offering increased power and sound pressure level from larger loudspeakers, more mixer input channels, +48V phantom power for condenser microphones, effects processing, channel compression and limiting, and includes pole mounts within the speaker.

The Stagepas 500 is portable, lightweight, and easy to set up and use. The system consists of a pair of high-performance speakers with 10-inch woofers and a 1-inch high frequency compression drivers powered by dual built-in Class D digital 250-watt power amplifiers and a 10-input channel mixer with 4-mono microphone/line inputs and 3-stereo line inputs. The additional stereo channel can be used for either a stereo or mono source. Line outputs as well as main speaker outputs mean you can connect additional powered speakers for monitoring, or to send the mixer's output to a recorder.

The Stagepas 500 mixer's 4-mono mic/line channels features switchable +48V phantom power for condenser microphones. Channels 1 and 2 feature built-in limiter compressors to prevent input overload and distortion and to add punch to vocals and instruments. Each input channel contains 2-band equalization. Reverb is available on channels 1 throuh 4 with a seperate Reverb level control for the mix.
